Welsh interface - in development: We've started translating Trusted Hands into Welsh. The interface is being reviewed; you may see some English while we complete the work. The will document itself and our legal disclaimers remain English-only at this time pending review by a Welsh-language solicitor.

In their words

People we've helped

I'd been putting it off for years. Did the whole thing one Sunday afternoon. The witness guide was the bit I was most nervous about, and they made it idiot-proof.
Margaret, Leeds
The advisor was incredibly patient with my situation - blended family, property abroad. They flagged a couple of things I hadn't thought about and recommended a solicitor for one of them. Felt looked after.
James, Bristol
After my dad passed, the executor portal made everything so much clearer. Knowing where to find things made a hard time a bit easier.

Common questions

Frequently asked

Is a will I write online actually legal?

Yes - provided it is signed and witnessed correctly. Trusted Hands produces a will that follows the requirements of the Wills Act 1837 (England & Wales). We provide a step-by-step witness guide so the signing is done properly.

Are you a firm of solicitors?

No. Trusted Hands is a will-writing service, not a regulated law firm. Our advisors are trained will writers but do not provide regulated legal advice.

Who can be a witness?

Two adults who are not beneficiaries of your will, nor married to or in a civil partnership with one. Both must be present at the same time when you sign. Friends, neighbours and colleagues are usually fine.

How long does it take?

Most people complete a self-service will in 15-30 minutes. An assisted appointment with an advisor typically lasts 60 minutes.

What if my circumstances change?

You can come back any time and create a new draft - the new signed will revokes the old one. With our annual subscription (which also unlocks Family Vault for insurance, deeds and more), unlimited updates are included for a small annual fee. We'll also nudge you if you record a major life event.

How is my data protected?

Files in your Digital Vault are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. We're UK GDPR compliant. You can request export or deletion at any time. Read our privacy notice.
