When the time comes
A secure portal that unlocks for your executors - exactly when they need it.
After a death is confirmed, your executor's portal unlocks. They log in to find the will, a live checklist, the documents you chose to share, and a register of assets to track as the estate is settled.
How the unlock works
- A family member or executor notifies Trusted Hands of the death and provides the death certificate.
- Our admin team verifies the certificate and marks the will-owner as deceased.
- The executor portal unlocks - executors can log in with the secure link they were sent when first appointed.
- They begin work with the will, Executor Pack and checklist already laid out in front of them.
There is no waiting on a solicitor's office to find the file, no rifling through cabinets, no phoning round providers cold. Everything the will-owner chose to provide is already there.
What's in the portal
- The signed will (download)
- The Executor Pack - the plain-English guide to the first 7 days, probate, inheritance tax, distribution and final accounts
- A live checklist - executors mark tasks complete; co-executors can see progress
- Asset register - add bank accounts, property, investments, debts as they're discovered
- Distribution tracker - record what's been given to which beneficiary and when
- Shared documents - whatever the will-owner placed in the Family Vault and marked shareable
Co-executor coordination
If you appointed more than one executor, all of them get access to the same portal and the same checklist. No more cc'd emails and forwarded scans - everyone sees the same authoritative record.
